Homework is sent out once a week on Thursday and should be returned by Tuesday morning. There will one piece of literacy and one piece of maths per week. Please complete the work in your learning log.
P.E. is on Tuesday. Please make sure you bring suitable clothing, including trainers, to school on this day.
We will listen to your child read once a week. Please bring your reading book to school everyday. Please support us in improving your child's reading and understanding of the text by listening to your child read at least once a week at home, then discussing what has been read.

Our topic this term is 'The Blitz'.
This project has a history focus and teaches children about the
Second World War, including an understanding of the reasons for
war, the impact on the everyday lives of people, including children.
Children will also learn about the significance of the Swansea Blitz and the social
and human impact of it.
In this topic the children will learn:
• About the political, social and economic reasons which
contributed to WW2;
• About the chronology of events between 1939-1945;
• About the impact of the war on the everyday lives of ordinary
people in Wales;
• About the Swansea Blitz of February 1941;
• About significant people of the time who played an important
role in the Welsh war effort;
• About how to use a range of sources to find information.
